Day started with a 3 hour bus ride from Käsmu to Taevaskoja, arriving for lunch. Right after eating we headed to Ahja river, and hopped on the canoes, two by two and rowed downstream enjoying estonian nature. Obstacles on the way made this adventurous trip just more fun. Showing the best of our skills avoiding trees, rocks, and rapids for more than two hours. Some canoes flipped over, others were more lucky and got dry to the end.
On the way back to the accomodation we chose the path through the deep forest of estonian countryside. Unfortunately we got lost, but this just gave us the chance to enjoy nature for an extra hour. By the time we got back, all very hungry and exhausted, warm and tasty food was waiting for us. But the day wasn´t over yet, since estonian folk music started to play. Everybody got in a circle and we started to learn traditional estonian dances. This day got us all very tired, but it was exciting and left us with many things to remember.
